The SPINX CAROLINA MARATHON is now the SPINX SWAMP RABBIT MARATHON
The Swamp Rabbit Marathon
Saturday, October 28, 2017 - Greenville, SC
A Point to Point Race on the SRT from Furman University to Fluor Field
Start in the Country, Finish in the City
Furman University to Fluor Field
The Swamp Rabbit Marathon uses more of the SRT than ever before.
The Swamp Rabbit Trail (SRT) is a rails-to-trail greenway connecting the town of Travelers Rest, S.C. with the city of Greenville, S.C. The Carolina Marathon sponsored by Spinx has used the SRT for many years, but the course has always been out and back from Greenville to Travelers Rest. 2017 marks the first year for going "point to point" and the race name has been changed to the Swamp Rabbit Marathon on account of the new route using more of the SRT than ever before.
